Whether it be visiting individuals, a friendly four ball or a larger group or golf society, a warm and friendly welcome awaits all visiting golfers at Bull Bay Golf Club.

The “hidden gem” that is Bull Bay Golf Club has become accessible to more visitors from further afield due to the improved road and ferry connections to the Isle of Anglesey. Less than two hours by road from the north of England and with ferries to Ireland only half an hour away, it is now easier than ever to enjoy the pleasures of golf at one of North Wales’ premier courses.

We run a number of Open Competitions throughout the playing season; click the Open Comps link above for a list. In common with a number of North Wales Golf Clubs, Bull Bay runs a week of Open Competitions, usually in the first week of August. The formats vary from Individual Strokeplay, Pairs Betterball, Best two from team of four to Texas Scramble, so there should be a format to suit everyone. Course Rating changes – Good News!
The course was re-rated in Autumn 2023. We were dismayed to be rated as 68.8 from the Men’s White tees, with a slope of 108. This caused some concern among visiting golfers as well as our members. The good news is that we have been reinspected and the course rating is now 71.6 with a slope of 119. The ladies current rating from the red tees is 71.7 with a slope of 120.
